To make sustainable employability concrete, Logistic Force employs two sustainability specialists, Wieteke Laros and Eric Becx. They play a crucial role in promoting the long-term workability and satisfaction of employees. They are responsible for building the long-term plan focused on our promise “The Better Job)”.
Sustainable employability
Good employers
Good employers are those who care for their employees and provide a pleasant workplace. Some aspects are determined by law, but good employers also go beyond what is legally required. By meeting both hygiene factors and motivational factors, Logistic Force creates a positive work environment where temporary workers feel valued, motivated, and engaged. This contributes to greater satisfaction, productivity, and loyalty towards our clients. We sum this up in our promise The Better Job. A recent example is the projects Logistic Force is running in collaboration with UWV, including not only vocational training but also language and skill development courses. Or the opportunity for temporary workers to use the budgetcoach service, which offers independent assistance in financial distress. Logistic Force ensures a good and safe working environment and a healthy balance between work and private life.
Applicants without a CV are welcome at Logistic Force. We always have a conversation and look for a suitable job in the area from our 28 locations. Discover the real-life stories of our temporary workers on the blog page.
The Better Job
The goal of the long-term plan is to make sustainable employability concrete within Logistic Force. This plan is not just a paper tiger, but a dynamic document that is continuously adapted to the needs of employees and the demands of the market. At Logistic Force, we have developed a collaborative approach that focuses on cooperation, both internally within the organization and externally with the temporary workers.
Our approach begins with the right conversation with our future temporary worker.
An important aspect of our approach is providing tailored guidance and support. This ranges from offering training and education to enhance the skills of the temporary employee, to providing career advice and assisting in finding a suitable job either within or outside Logistic Force.
In addition, communication plays a key role in their approach. Regular feedback sessions and evaluations ensure that the progress of the temporary workers is continuously monitored and adjusted as needed. This not only improves alignment between the worker’s desires and the available opportunities, but also strengthens the sense of involvement for the worker towards the client.
The implementation of our vision on sustainable employability, or The Better Job, has already yielded visible results. Temporary workers feel more valued and supported, which not only increases their satisfaction and loyalty but also contributes to higher productivity and lower absenteeism.
Our approach focuses on concretizing sustainable employability so that temporary workers receive the right personal attention and make informed choices. This strategy leads to better jobs and more satisfied and engaged temporary workers. Ultimately, this benefits both the temporary workers and our clients.
The same opportunities and the same rights
For the recruitment of temporary workers with a migration background and a permanent housing situation in the Netherlands, we have experts in-house at each location. They ensure that the temporary worker has the same opportunities and rights as any other resident of the Netherlands. Through thematic live events on our social media accounts, we help guide them in areas such as health insurance, municipal regulations, and discuss social aspects they may experience while integrating into Dutch society.
We also assist those in financial need or those who are distanced from the labor market, helping them progress in their careers without stress and with job satisfaction.
